I have a very interactive teaching approach with a heavy emphasis on visual learning materials and speaking practice for the student.
I believe in learning by doing. The best way to learn a language is through immersion. In New York, I plan to incorporate as much real-life practice of the language as possible.
Many people wish to learn a language from a native speaker. While that is a good way, sometimes I find it's better to learn from a non-native speaker, someone who has also dealt with the pitfalls of and difficulties of learning that language and has overcome them; this person is better able to empathize with other language-learners and better explain effectively how to learn that language. |

I prefer natural environmental learning according to my experience. So i hope to create All- MANDARIN environment in the class and very few english unless necessary. For beginner, i will concentrate on listening speaking and writing. Each class encountering a situation then leads to a conversation which later develop into practicing use of the grammar. Afterwards i'll get into variation practice of tones, Hanyu Pinyin and learning chinese sinograms (characters ) Traditional sinograms or simplified sinograms are both available according to student's need. For mediate students, i will concentrate on reading writing and using of idiom. Using diverse practice of role play, reading materials and situation to achieve a higher comprehension in chinese culture. For advanced students, I will focus on writing and self-studying in ¶®ªºº~»y and ¤å¨¥¤å 's ability.
