I like using different authentic materials from everyday life (TV series, hit songs, newspapers, books,…) either brought into class by me or the students themselves. It serves well for learning new items as well as for the revision of topics already discussed.
I work trying to develop all the skills necessary for mastering a foreign language, be it speaking, listening or reading skills all the while encouraging my students to be active.
I am open to all the suggestions from my students and I usually try to incorporate them into my program.

For teaching Slovene I use a beginner's book as developed from University of Ljubljana (1, 2, 3, Gremo). I send you a copy of the book (you'll have to provide for copy and shipping expenses) and once you get it we can start with online lessons, which works very much like an one-to-one class. |
