I believe people learn differently according to how they perceive information. So I teach each person in the learning style that suits them most. I give them two questionnaires to complete on "learning assessment" (to assess learning style preferences), and a "psychological assessment" (to measure psychological preferences in how people perceive the world and make decisions).
In the class I use the approach called 'student centered' where I focus on my learners needs and their life style, what they really interact with on a day to day basis or what are their particular or special interests. This makes the lessons fun and lively. |

I prefer meeting a tentative student in person (or on the phone) first to get the idea of student's specific goals and level of the language, so that I can tailor a lesson plan for each student. I normally teach each lesson with different types of exercises (conversation, reading, writing, vocabulary, video clips, songs, nursery rhymes, poems), and grammar is usually integrated here and there (unless student wants to devote more time learning grammar). The lesson is quite casual, more like friends having conversation but half of the time (if not all the time) in Thai. |

The ways I carry out my lesson are flexible and design for each student`s need.My students told me my class is fun, dynamic and creative.
Generally,I begin with
*Thai pronunciation.It builds ability to listen and speak clear Thai.
*Following with the conversation and concentrate on practicing.
*Some Tips about Thai culture and Thai custom.
I do not prefer to teach much grammar(boring) but I will use it as a reference.I believe These are good step to begin.Otherwise,we can discuss How you want the lesson.
